The Cottage
Dolphin View Cottage in Ardersier is a one-bedroom self-catering holiday cottage that sleeps two with fabulous sea views from the cottage windows over Ardersier Bay and the Moray Firth towards the Black Isle and Chanonry Point on the opposite shore. There are level walks from the door along the well surfaced pavements and shore path to Ardersier Common and Fort George. The village has good local shops within walking distance. The front and rear gardens are enclosed and laid to grass.
The cottage has a log-burning stove in the comfortable living room, a large Smart TV, unlimited WiFi, a full kitchen, a bathroom with a full shower. Outside there is private parking on the gated driveway and the front and back gardens are enclosed. The patio area at the front of the cottage is ideal to sit and enjoy the evening sunsets.
It is located in a small coastal village between Inverness and Nairn in the Scottish Highlands. The village has a food serving pub, a Spar and a Morrisons Daily shop. Other village facilities include a pharmacy, doctors surgery, library, hairdresser, and cafes within walking distance. Also within walking distance is Fort George, a historic fortress built after the battle of Culloden, entry to the Fort is normally chargeable but is included in the cottage pass. Ardersier is on a quiet loop off the A96 and makes a brilliant base to explore the Highlands of Scotland.

Dolphin View Cottage has a comfortable living room with a wood-burning stove and background electric heating.
The dining area in the bay window has sea views over Ardersier bay and the Moray Firth towards Chanonry Point on the Black Isle and Ben Wyvis. In the evenings you can watch the glorious sunsets over the Moray Firth from the comfort of the cottage.
There is a Smart TV, a selection of board and card games, puzzlesm books, local guides, unlimited broadband WiFi and maps to help you get the most out of your holiday.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a washer dryer, fridge with icebox, full size cooker and all the utensils and pans needed for self-catering

The well-equipped kitchen has a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with icebox, slow cooker, electric oven with separate grill and washing machine/tumble dryer. There are plenty of pots, pans and utensils for self-catering. An inventory is available to help you decide what to pack/leave at home.
The bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobes and plenty of cupboards so you can unpack properly. The windows have sea views over the Moray Firth

The double bedroom sleeps 2, and it has lots of storage space and hanging space in the wardrobes so you can unpack properly, the bedroom window also has sea views over the Moray Firth. All bed linen and towels are provided, however, a discount is available if you prefer to bring your own bed linen.
The Shower Room

The Shower room is lovely and warm with a heated towel rail and wall heater.
The back garden is mostly laid to grass and surrounded by a high wooden fence
Outdoor space
The sunny front garden overlooks the Moray Firth and has a bench seat and patio area to enjoy the views. The enclosed rear garden has a 5 - 6' high wooden fence and is laid to grass and shrubs with garden table, chairs and portable BBQ provided. There is also a lockable garden shed to store your sports equipment.

Fast free WiFi for guest use, Smart TV, radio, a selection of books, board games, jigsaw puzzles, local guides, ordnance survey maps, and visitor information to help you make the most of your holiday.

We pride ourselves on having everything available to make sure your holiday is comfortable, we book holiday cottages for our own holidays so know how annoying it is when you arrive at your holiday cottage and find you cannot grate cheese or pop a meal in the slow cooker for example, (we have graters and a slow cooker). To save space in your car, we have an inventory we can send you.
The hall has additional storage space in the hall vestibule.
